I wonder how many people believe that a newspaper that counts amongst its well-paid columnists several professional bigots gives a damn about anti-semitism?
And if your interest in anti-semitism stems principally from its ability to harm your political opponents, how different are you to those you pretend to oppose?
I've said (several times) what I have to say about this story and my tweet and the Sunday Times. I will continue to call out the anti-semitism Corbyn enables. I'm not going to spend my day repeating myself. If you disagree with what I've said, well, welcome to pluralism.

To characterise those concerned about what it means to assert a right to divine and force through a "will of the people" obtained with deliberate lies and breaches of electoral law as "throwing a tantrum" should be far beneath both @TheEconomist and any respectable academic.
If you don't see the portents of fascism in what has happened in our politics in the last few years you can't have your eyes open. To mock those of us who wake in the night fearful of that future as "throwing a tantrum" is utterly shameful.
There is a prevalent and corrosive strain of self-loathing in middle class England. But that we have risen together in defence of values we hold dear - progressive, fair, decent - is the solitary shaft of light in this dark period of recent history. We should be, I am, proud.

This is just not true. Our PM has gone on camera and lied to the country.
That @theresa_may will lie to the people tells us how much she really cares about the "trust in our democracy" she talks about.

Not a cigarette paper between Labour and the Tories. Both content to sacrifice the life chances of the young to appease the anti-immigrant rhetoric of bigots. Shame on them.
That the Tories have abandoned the young for power should surprise no one. That Labour would do the same reveals the Corbyn project: by, of and for old men who march in service of their narrow ideology on a road paved with the crushed futures of the young.
I'm told, angrily, that No.10's briefing on what is agreed with Labour is false. My contact is in a position to know and trustworthy. But here's the thing: do any of us (including my contact) know what Labour's position really is? Please keep telling Labour what you won't accept.

Sorry to break it down to you, but he's the ONLY character that actually got a "she's all that"(*) moment in ST - even tho Finn and Rey had the same opportunity to take off their "masks" and wow people with their good looks, this only happened with Kylo
(*) "She's all that" is a 90/00's movie back at that time we had a lot of classic romcoms and it was fairly common to have the love interest to either show up and wow the main character (and the audience) with their beauty OR to have a make-over and, again, wow everyone

Many people believe that machine learning algorithms are analytical -- that they ponder over the data available and do logical, unbiased reasoning using some internal model.

They're the opposite of that: they're intuitive. They do pattern recognition. They're System 1, not 2.
Machine learning models take the shortest path from input to label, based on previous situations they've encountered -- just like human intuition. Straight input-to-output mapping.

And of course, they tend to be highly biased.
Replies indicate that people are very confused about what "bias" means. It means doing pattern recognition based on spurious correlations, as opposed to causal reasoning. A ML model will use all correlations found in the training data, and typically many of them will be spurious.
