Looks like there is a pretty robust bot campaign to support Haftar in the West. This one looks like it is out of Abu Dhabi. Clumsy but disturbing. Anyone know how to scientifically measure these fake accounts? 
These new Twitter accounts retweet Barcelona soccer, the Dubai Media Office, and random Brexit stuff. There is one old account. They follow gibberish accounts.
The US right wing is using Libya as anti Hillary narrative, and the UN seems to seizing the microphone to talk about impact on migrants. And can the media stop saying "on the brink of civil war" Meanwhile Haftar and his #LNA are far from home and much further from victory
U.S. CIA asset Haftar seemed like the solution to a divided, combative. post Gaddafi Libya infested with all manner of islamist agendas. Like Syria, the Obama administration began to weaponize "moderate" Haftar via the UAE because of Benghazi/Derna middleeasteye.net/news/did-us-kn…
It might also be important to remember that Haftar was hired by the UAE to prevent Libya from forming a single unified government. Haftar's pretense to national power and Europe's clumsy machinations baffles Libyans but invigorates Turkey, Russia and Qatar.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinio…
Much like the UAE's machinations in Yemen, Somalia, Somaliland, Eritrea and other regions. The goal is to pay for proxy or mercenary groups to ramp up or ramp down violence to guarantee a place at the table, balance their enemies and never fully stabilize, but have control.
The half dozen or so western Libyan analysts like @wheelertweetsare @MaryFitzger @Oded121351 @Arn_Del taking the piss out of media reports and characterizations. Libya is a good example of how long from flash to bang it takes to get narrative straight #GroundNetworks
