Hi, Congressman, veterans here. Couple of points:

1. All of us are grateful for Rep. Crenshaw's sevice to America.

2. @AOC was *clearly* talking about right wing domestic terror, which make up almost all recent attacks, as the GOP Trump admin has stoked racism.

So, @RepAndyBarr, we don't think @aoc owes an apology. She brought up a legit point, and we think you'd agree, that Congress and the admin need to do more to stop right-wing domestic terror.

Hope you, and Rep. Crenshaw will work with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez to do just that.

These are acts of domestic terror. #Terrorism is a violent act that doesn’t target victims directly but intends to send a broader msg to the target population (Morin, 2016). In the case of hate it’s Jews, Black ppl, LGBTQ, Muslims.
Domestic terrorism is a terror is committed by someone or some group motivated by US Movements. And hate crimes like Tree of Life Synogogue shouting is domestic terrorism. Is it on the rise?

A life that has seen Japanese internment camps, the violence that accompanied the civil rights era, the struggle for LGBT recognition and basic dignities.
And a career that saw him offered roles as humiliating stereotypes and having to keep his most important relationships a secret to protect it.
