This is the kind of probative piece into the platforms—especially YouTube—that we vitally need. The tech press was to compliant, star struck, and deferential for far too long; one of the reason why we are where we are. By @MikeIsaac nytimes.com/2019/04/17/bus…
Note how quickly YouTube solved a violent video problem when it threatened a big brand.

Also unaddressed, except as it involved the CEOs own videos, the horrific cesspool that is YouTube comments, an unredeemable hellscape of hate, misogyny, racism, recruitment.

Electrify everything, go 100% renewable ASAP.
Cut way way way back on meat, plant trees where pastures once stood.
Green roofs, street trees, victory gardens 2.0
Mass transit, trains.
Passive heating and cooling everywhere.
Marshall plan for climate.
Big carrots and big sticks
This, at a bare minimum, is what it will take for humanity—not the planet, the planet will be fine—to survive in any non Mad Max way.

And the sooner everybody starts wrapping their head around it the better.

Also, ban most consumer plastics.
There will be fortunes and legend made, and lost, in this transition. Put your faith in, and your money on, those pushing for the real systemic changes.

First: legit, what rise?
Second: The actual experts do not agree with you, and your fear-mongering is likely causing more harm than good.

This comment about taking commercial orders is exactly what I have seen on their older now abandoned bots.
Their tweets would be a mix of commercial spam and politics
When I mention Google and YouTubes hiding of what the Internet research agency does this is what I’m talking about.
The Russians have massive amounts of YouTube trolls and bots that up/down vote videos and make comments.
@Google does nothing.
