Answer from MC @PanGeoSubsea is that innovation is important (no mention of role of research)

#RM_Ott19 @NRC_CNRC rep adds that IRAP program can create great links, and also NRC does great research with innovation in mind. More work can be done to link the R back into R&D at #superclusters, and NRC can facilitate that link.

#RM_Ott19 Dave Watters adds on possible role of social sciences and @SSHRC_CRSH in linking innovation programs w/ social outcomes ➡️ so many unanswered questions on how to best make these links, incl for reconciliation and elevating Canada in an inclusive and sustainable way

SP @DTSupercluster chimes in, that scoring projects includes deployment plan ➡️ integrated solutions will score better than simple / linear output. Scaling capacity worth major points.

#RM_Ott19 Q on inclusion of provinces from Stefan Leslie @MEOPAR_NCE, WW @dwavesys notes that Quebec is now a partner in @AISupplyChain, and that their role will greatly help with capacity building for talent.
