Trump announcing a presser for an investigation of himself b4 ppl can read Mueller's report is a desperate, panic driven move. He's telling Barr to go out & sell it, hoping people don't read it. Barr is terrible on camera, was admonished by a Judge & will get drilled by reporters

2 Panic moves are a sure sign your opponent is losing & holding back the release of Mueller's report for hours after the presser is total triage move.
-Reporters should hit hard w/ their questions
-House Dems should initiate impeachment
-We should be confident Trump is going down

3 Barr told Congress he did not brief the WH on Mueller's report. NYT says Barr shared report info w/ them in "recent days". If he did it before he testified, the only way I can see Barr having cover to avoid perjury charges, is if a Trump exit deal was at least being negotiated

4 Tomorrow's schedule leaves the door open for an Trump resignation. I'd put it at 25%. Once the report is out, Trump's leverage plummets w/ indictments & impeachment coming next. The schedule is highly suspect

5 Reported tonight- the mystery why Mueller passed on making a Trump obstruction decision is bc T's intent was unknown. After Barr's letter, I predicted it was intent, due to T's dementia. We probably won't get that detail unless a resignation is happening
