- Sarah Sanders admitted to Mueller’s investigators that she just makes shit up.

- Trump knew about — and coordinated his plans around — the Wikileaks dump ahead of time.

- Trump dangled a pardon for Flynn more than once

- Mueller believed Kushner and Jr. committed crimes
- Obstruction *only* failed because Trump’s aides wouldn’t commit unlawful orders

- Trump ordered McGahn to have Rosenstein fire Mueller, then ordered him to lie about it to Mueller’s team. McGahn refused.

- Trump told Sessions he was supposed to protect him.
My favorite thing so far is the Prince and the “whoopsies I just happened to meet a Russian in the Seychelles” narrative finally coming apart.

It was always bullshit, and we knew that, but now everyone else does too.

Hillary’s op-ed is well-reasoned, measured, and poignant.

She accurately points out that we — myself included — need to slow down on the castigation of Congress.

I try to always be measured, but I’m getting impatient. Hillary is right, though; Congress is doing what they’re supposed to.

She reminds us all of what is usually my own constant refrain: we have to get this right.
More importantly, she urges Dems to not become bogged down with *only* going after Trump. The facts will lead us to impeachment, that is almost incontrovertible.

She reminds them we elected them to not only hold Trump accountable, but to focus on a sensible agenda.

Brief thread: I promise it won’t be 430 posts 😏

I know some of you don’t want to read the Mueller report, but you probably should. It makes clear a presidency that has been defined by intentional deception, obfuscation, and flat-out lies.

This is not a win for POTUS.
Mueller states several times throughout the report that people sought to conceal their actions related to — and/or their relationship with — subjects of his investigation.

This is not innocent behavior.
The report also makes clear that when America was attacked, Trump’s inclination was to attack the institutions of Justice.

Barr would like you to believe that’s because he (Trump) had hurt feelings.

Bullshit.

I know sometimes I’m appallingly optimistic, but truthfully, I’m just as concerned as you are.

If you’re looking for a fear-mongering feed, this isn’t the right one for you. I’d probably have more followers if I stoked fears daily, but that’s just not my style.
With that being said, we are quickly approaching the crossroads of authoritarianism and democracy.

It feels like in the post-Barr letter victory lap, something is fundamentally broken in America.
It’s almost time to (peacefully) shut down DC and not leave until he does, but I don’t think we’re there yet; I’m willing to give the Dems a chance to conduct their oversight.

That’s the purpose behind my optimism. It’s not false hope, it’s just how DC works.
