1/ If you'll remember, one of the conspiracy theories out there is that the DNC/DCCC hack must've been an "inside job" because the timestamps in the .rar file published by Guccifer 2.0 showed transfer rates too high for external connections.

2/ While not mentioned by name, the #MuellerReport does hint at what happened: RAR.exe was installed internally. In other words, yes the documents were put into archive internally at high speed, but not by an "insider", but by the external GRU hackers.
3/ That may where this comes from, with Assange later telling Rohrabacher that there's proof it was an "inside job".

Wages in China can be as low as $1/hour. Why should I, the greedy evil capitalist, want to force 50 employees to work 80 hour weeks for $4000, when I can just have 100 employees work 40 hour weeks for the same $4000???

The lefty argument is that forcing employees to work longer hours makes them less efficient. Why can't greedy capitalists see that? It means they'd be getting less productivity from the 50/80 mix than the 100/40 mix for their $4000. Why are evil capitalists failing at greed???

So Democrats hate Trump for the unforgiveable crime of not being a Democrat. (Former) #neverTrump Republicans like me hate him for things like this. It's never okay to ask the country's secret policy to suppress news stories. Ever.
It's not an isolated incident. It's how he appoints incompetent politicians to the FED to get them to stop raising interest rates so he can brag how high the stock market is going. It's how he tells border control to commit crimes with promises of pardons if they do so.
Yes, Obama did a couple of bad things as well, such implementing DACA as an executive order when it should've been done with a law from Congress. But it was nothing on the scale of Trump.

1/ So based solely on my ability to read English and do math, and a willingness to be proven wrong, I calculate @MalwareTechBlog facing 6 months to 48 months, depending whether the judge believes his contrition and the government's claim of $70k damages.
2/ My guess is something closer to to 6 months, because otherwise the government risks creating another Max Butler out of somebody who otherwise is destined to fight cybercrime rather than commit it.

I’m no computer expert, but this article is suggesting the #MuellerReport proved that Russians, not Seth Rich or someone else, was responsible for the transaction of DNC file leaks to Wikileaks. I consider this factually incorrect. (Short thread)

You’ll want to examine the report for yourself, beginning at around page 38 (of the document itself, numbered at the bottom of the pages.

They suggest a VPN was set up to make it look like the computer was actually connected.

1) I see no evidence in the report to corroborate this

2) Even if Russians or whomever HAD hacked the server, it doesn’t automatically prove they gave the info to Wikileaks.

Setting the tone. First sentence of the #MuellerReport (after recitals of legal status).
Just the executive description (summary), but you can begin to see the contours of the #MuellerReport findings: (i) Russia hacked/influenced, (ii) Trump campaign knew about hacking/influencing, (iii) no proof ("did not establish") that Trump campaign helped hacking/influencing.
