This is exactly right. In fact, we both expressed skepticism many times. I never bought Steele, I never believed the active conspiracy/collaboration theory was supported by the evidence, and I recently wrote against Impeachment on the cover of Time.
Months ago, I wrote my core theory of the case — that the collusion conspiracy was unsupported, but that Trump was surrounded by unscrupulous people who’d grasp any advantage they could, even from Russians or WikiLeaks. This was true: nationalreview.com/2018/11/jerome…

The fundamental facts of Trump’s campaign and presidency are bad enough, and the additional facts we learned in the Mueller report only make him look worse. “Yay he’s not a traitor” is the lowest possible bar to pass. He’s never been fit to be POTUS, and remains unfit now.
