More of this, please. More charging stations, more incentive to use them (like free parking). More ways to locate.
I rarely drive to work/at all but good to know the parking lot near me has dedicated spaces for charging.
I noticed in SoCal that a lot of shopping malls had dedicated free charging-only spots. Great way to both get a good parking spot and charge your EV/hybrid. More requirements for these please. Incentivize the transformation to all electric ASAP.
Relatedly, @uber and @lyft should create a choice/incentive for riders to choose only hybrids and EVs.
@Uber @lyft Any new/major outdoor parking lot should be required to build solar panel canopies over the spaces that help charge cars and feed solar power into the grid. Ditto new roofs on malls and etc.

Unconditional basic income is "fuck you money" for all. Those who are against UBI don't want workers to tell employers to fuck off unless their wage/time demands are met. Those who are against UBI don't want the abused to tell their abusers to fuck off. UBI is about emancipation.
I think it's especially ridiculous hearing socialists claim a basic income enables employers to lower wages. For desireable jobs maybe, but not undesirable jobs. UBI's unconditionality is strike power for individuals. It's bargaining power to demand higher wages & shorter weeks.
Universal basic income is also venture capital for those inclined to start worker co-ops to bring democracy to the work place, and make sure all workers share in the profits. And this has been observed where UBI has been tested. People will pool their incomes and share ownership.

I regard getting free access to immensely powerful social networks that enrich and improve my life and ability to keep in touch with distant loved ones as a fantastic trade off for Facebook letting pants companies advertise interesting pants to me as the hiking season approaches.
In fact that isn't even a trade off. That's a free lunch. Facebook innovatively created a whole new product category (social micro data) which means I receive better targeted information about products that may satisfy my desires and demands.
And sometimes FB targets political stuff as well. I appreciate that too: paying attention to politics is already my civic duty, it's convenient that they have found a way to make companies pay to give me information relevant to my political leanings.
