Joe Biden is looking old. Sorry, but he does. Frail even.
Uncle Joe isn't going to cut it anymore. More like Grandpa Joe, even Geriatric Joe. Two years has taken a toll on that man.

I'd say shame on Wall Street and K Street for exploiting someone who was bit by the presidential bug decades ago.

But they don't have any shame.

Are the latest polls showing a Biden bounce, or a Bernie collapse after his monumental gaffe about restoring the voting rights for the Boston bomber?

I'm not convinced it's not. That's a toxic campaign ender in a normal modern American political campaign.
To be clear, I'm not saying it is over for Bernie Sanders. But that remark was made at the least opportune time and we're likely seeing the result of that combination, rather than an organic surge for a candidate who represents the past. Also, I have to say this....
Also, I have to say this...

Geriatric Joe Biden is the best Democrats have? Stop pretending this is a deep bench. A record 20 candidates are running, and their best hope is a two-time loser the party never wanted?

I think some people are allowing themselves to be deluded again.

Does @ChrisCoons feel the same way about British Intelligence? This is all very ludicrous. Unlike @HillaryClinton, I don't see where @DonaldJTrumpJr paid a foreign agent millions of dollars for Russian-sourced oppo-research "dirt" that ended up being used to spy on opponents.
Think about the argument @ChrisCoons is making for a moment.

@DonaldJTrumpJr should've called the @FBI.

And which corrupt political enemy should he have called? James Comey? Andrew McCabe? Peter Strzok? Maybe Bruce Ohr at Justice?

Get freakin' real.
Had @DonaldJTrumpJr or the Trump Campaign alerted the FBI, they would've been talking in good faith to crooked cops planning to use their own Russian-sourced oppo-research to bury his father.

This would be a total joke if it wasn't so terrifying.

In other words, the media portrayal of the OIC opinion impact on the decision not to charge obstruction was the problem. Not The portrayal by William Barr. So muck fake news, so little time.
In other words, Trump didn’t have a corrupt intent to obstruct an investigation into a crime. He had a justified outrage over a witch hunt predicated on false accusations of a fake crime.
James @Comey had delusions he was the only honest adult in that cesspool of a town. If that was his hope for his legacy, then he should’ve mentored under William Barr, not Robert Mueller.

Keith witnesses Hanahaki at it's worst when he's hardly six years old. It's the sight of his father leaning over the kitchen sink and coughing and coughing until petals came up, deep purple webbed with lilac. Keith is transfixed by the sight,
too young to understand what's happening, to think the sight is anything but cool. His father murmurs a quiet curse, wipes at his mouth. Smiles his way and tells him everything is okay. Keith misses the pain in his eyes but he doesn't miss how his father's cough never goes away.
Two years later, his father isn't there to say it's okay when his lungs fail him in the middle of a rescue. People tell him the smoke and fire is ultimately what killed him, but it was the flowers, with their teeming roots and their tearing thorns, that ensured it.

I feel like driving up some controversy, so how about a thread of Hot Takes/Unpopular Opinions! You know the drill, one like = one take/opinion.

Start easy: the blunt awkwardness/cringe of 'Blurryface' is the point of taking the piss out of Tyler. I stand by my light 9/10.
2. I don't hate Nickelback's 'Dark Horse' - it's easily a record for them at their most tasteless, but the frat-bro swagger of it helps some of their better hooks.
3. 'Fireflies' by Owl City is a genuinely terrific song that captures precocious, starry-eyed wonderment better than few others in the 2000s.

It is SPECTACULARLY lame, but that's why it works.
