In Idaho, a judge has ruled that law enforcement cannot compel a person to unlock their phone with a fingerprint because it would violate their 5th Amendment rights, following a similar ruling in California earlier this year.

In the previous ruling, a California judge decided that both face and finger biometrics are protected.

Though these decisions represent a positive shift, the courts are still divided. For now, to best protect what's on your device, stick with an alphanumeric passcode.

BREAKING: The court in our long-running lawsuit to end NSA mass surveillance has dismissed our case. The American people deserve to know whether mass surveillance is legal and constitutional. Instead of deciding whether the NSA's activities are illegal, the court deferred to the government's state secrecy arguments, trapping our case in a Catch-22. eff.org/deeplinks/2019…

2/ Discussion & thoughts on finding 10 to 20 bets that are uncorrelated so that you increase the amount of expected return per every unit of risk you take. Most of you go on and look at stocks, bonds REITs and commodities and stop there.
3/ The way I would recommend to find uncorrelated correctly priced investments (good deals) is to look in different regions of the world, in different asset classes and different sub-sectors of those asset classes....
