BREAKING: The court in our long-running lawsuit to end NSA mass surveillance has dismissed our case. We are disappointed that the court ruled against our clients based on the government's state secrecy arguments. eff.org/document/jewel… This is a screenshot of the first page of the order in the case.
The American people deserve to know whether mass surveillance is legal and constitutional. Instead of deciding whether the NSA's activities are illegal, the court deferred to the government's state secrecy arguments, trapping our case in a Catch-22. eff.org/deeplinks/2019…
