Boycotting palm oil would inevitably mean another crop would be grown to replace it.
As oil palm has x10 the yield of other crops, alternatives would likely trigger *more* habitat loss.
Sustainable solutions needed urgently.🌴

*Big caveat* The regions where oil palm is grown tend to have poor regulatory frameworks, so ensuring the reliability of certification can be a real challenge.
