Me: I didn't say that. I do when it makes me happy. I'm not a hired gun. I'll teach you how to fight, I might even sell you a few strategic weapons. But I don't get involved in the fight unless it's something I'm passionate about.

The problem with getting involved is that I can't then teach others in the same space without fear of polluting that teaching with what I know.
There is also little to no point in writing a strategy for others unless you're prepared to roll up your sleeves and run it. My interest (and what makes me happy) is teaching people to map. Writing strategy for others would interfere with that.
However, I am always amazed at how some people can't accept this. They always assume there is a price and seem to have a meltdown when you respond ... "yes, it's called happiness".
I am extremely fortunate to have found something that makes me happy, it's what I pursue. I love teaching companies how to map. I enjoy discussing maps with others. I'm delighted it helps my friends. What more could you want? (... hmmm, more comfortable travel maybe).
