With the suspension of @TrueIndology, this article by TrueFraudology in @SwarajyaMag is in circulation again. This is a short thread to show what a lying git @TrueIndology has always been, and shall always be.

TOI had published an article about online historical misinfo and cited TrueIndology as an example. In TrueIndology's aforementioned rebuttal to the TOI article, it was claimed that the account was wrongly accused in the article for circulating a fake picture of Tipu Sultan.

All the fact-checking outlets - @AltNews, @boomlive_in and @SMHoaxSlayer at some point or other have written about this Tipu Sultan image. NONE has named TrueIndology as the source of the image. Here's the @AltNews article.

Essentially, there wasn't a single false claim vis-a-vis TrueFraudology in the TOI article. Yet, this so called 'rebuttal' full of baloney found space in @SwarajyaMag with the editor @TheJaggi himself tweeting it.

Lastly, I do not support the suspension of @TrueIndology atleast based on the content of the tweets, there is nothing in there that warrants suspension. It is not yet clear why the account has been suspended, thanks to @Twitter's amazing lack of transparency in such issues.
