I understand @ScottMorrisonMP has just said he won't take advice from me on the economy. Here's some anyway:
1. When working people's wages go backwards they cut their spending. This is very bad for the economy.

2. Or they stop saving and start cutting into their savings to keep up with the cost of living. The cost of essential items is outstripping wages growth.
3. Workers in casual, labour hire and on contracts do not have the bargaining power to ask for and win fair pay increases. They can be let go at any time. Fixing this problem, helps wage growth and helps families.
4. This means they cut back on their spending. 60% of our economy is domestic spending, so when this slows, so does the economy
5. This hurts local businesses, especially local businesses as they depend on working people spending at their shops and businesses
6. If you give huge tax handouts to people who are already very rich, let's say earning $500 000 a year or you give it to big business, they don't spend more in local businesses, they are more likely to stash it in the Cayman Islands
7. If you make the very wealthy and big business pay their fair share of tax, that's more money for our schools, hospitals, Medicare, dental care and pensions. This supports the Australian people.
8. If you back the Australian people, rather than just backing big business, you build a happier, highly skilled and properly paid workforce which is more productive.
9. How can we have a good economy when our living standards are actually falling! You have no plan to deal with this other than discredited and out-dated trickle-down economics.
