Center for Media and Democracy published a review of workplace discrimination and harassment lawsuits that found corporate members of ALEC which has drafted template bills supporting fracking, “Are Leaders in Workplace Discrimination and Harassment.”
Although a significant portion of the overall allegations were resolved by sealed settlement, ALEC members appeared to make up a significant percentage of large corporations whose liability for racial and sexual claims from 2000 to present is known.
Chevron paid out over $5.5 million, Energy Transfer over $5.8 million, and Koch Industries over $1 million — all due to racial and sexual misconduct claims.

Steamboat Institute👉 Bream spoke on August 11 at the Steamboat Institute’s 10th Annual Freedom Conference & Festival. The two-day event also featured then-Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and conservative commentators Charlie Kirk, Candace Owens, and Sebastian Gorka, among others.
Its national advisory board includes Ginni Thomas, a conservative writer who is married to Justice Clarence Thomas, and Kevin Jackson, who was fired from Fox News after he said the women who reported sexual misconduct by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh are “lying skanks.”
The institute is part of the State Policy Network (SPN), a coalition of organizations that pushes for conservative policies across the country. Industrialist brothers Charles and David Koch have funded SPN.

To save our democracy, Democrats need to win big. They not only have to beat Donald Trump in 2020, but also have to achieve majorities in the House and Senate that are big and stable enough to survive the 2022 midterms.
Doing that will require winning back states and districts that they lost in 2014 and 2016, taking others that have long been in GOP hands, and governing in a way that keeps those states and districts from turning red again.

How many states do "they" have resolutions from in order to call a Constitutional Convention? There are several organizations pushing a call for a ConCon & they don't agree with each other. In fact the main one, Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force doesn't even agree with itself!
In 2016, the Center for Media and Democracy (CMD) uncovered infighting amongst the many organizations. This resulted in Nick Dranias, a lawyer and former director of policy development at the Goldwater Institute, to be ousted from his job as Director of Compact for America.
Because he argued with the BBATF about the count.
