The big class & education divides in this round of locals are v much Con vs Lib Dem rather than to do with Lab performance. Cons doing much worse in areas with lots of graduates & middle class voters, better in areas with lots of no quals or working class voters. LDs opposite 1/2
2/2 Lab do a little bit better in middle class and graduate heavy areas (esp relative to last year rather than 2015) but the link between class/education and Con/LDs performance is generally larger
3/2 Worth remembering that what's going on here is in part a reflection of local political context - LDs doing *really* well in areas where they start 2nd to Cons, and such areas are often areas with lots of middle class/graduate voters
