Hillary Is Turning Out To Be A Truly Pathetic Figure

To those who think Hillary is an accomplished woman, just ponder this: Has there ever been a truly accomplished person in history who moped incessantly for years on end because they lost an election?
"As I have been telling candidates who have come to see me ..." -- Hillary

Hard to believe anyone is actually seeking Hillary's advice? By the way, this is her advice (paraphrasing her message): "Pointless for you to run. No matter what you do, you will never be able to win."
This could easily be the most rewarding and generous time of Hillary's life. She can do so much good by bringing attention and focus to all kinds of needs at home and abroad. She is well recognized worldwide. Instead, she decides to spend the rest of her days being bitter. Sad!
This is no accident. People who lead fulfilling lives have causes they care about. For all his executive weakness in office, Jimmy Carter has led a fulfilling life after leaving office. Clintons have no causes they care about, beyond self-indulgence, money and power.

2. China is not going to mend its ways easily. They benefit too much from the devious ways they deal with their international trading partners. Trade negotiations seem to have hit an impasse.

3. Many Trump opponents will blame Trump for precipitating a trade war with China which will hurt America too. But the truth is someone has to confront China, which has been allowed to defraud the rest of the world through unfair and unethical trading practices for far too long.

1. Crying Shame of Mueller's Pseudo-Investigation

Mueller ignored the likely illegal origins of the Steele dossier, the insertion of FBI informants into the Trump campaign, the unlawful leaking of documents, and the conflicted testimonies high-level intelligence officials.
2. All of those things were potential felonies. All in some way yielded information that Mueller drew on in his investigation. Yet Mueller never recommended a single indictment of any of the Obama-era officials who likely broke laws.
3. Mueller was instead fixated on possible collusion with Russia. But it is a crime to knowingly hire a foreign national to work on a presidential campaign. That is what the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC did when they paid British subject Christopher Steele to smear Trump.

Democrats' Solution To Every Problem: Make 'Problem-Free Life' A Right

Democrats believe people's butts will stop hurting the moment govt declares that "everyone has a right to a hurt-free butt."
Democrats No Longer Believe In Any Policy Or Program, Only Rights

Democrats no longer want to do any heavy lifting of crafting any social programs to fix any problems, because that requires too much cost/benefit analysis. They just want to wish away problems by declaring rights.
Do You Know Why Democratic Leaders Are So Attracted To New Rights?

It's because by declaring something a right they never have to answer the question, "How will we pay for it?" You see, rights are free. They live in this magical, hallucinatory make-believe Bizarro world.

buzzfeednews.com/article/rosieg… I really liked the reporting of this story on ousted white nationalist Katie McHugh. But I must quibble with some of the framing of how it is that powerful Republicans, many in Trump’s circle, keep “finding themselves” hanging out with Nazis.
The people in Trump’s circle — including Miller, Bannon and his own son — that keep turning out to have connections to white nationalists have those because there’s not a lot of daylight between their views and more honestly racist people.
White nationalists believe that the races can’t and shouldn’t mix and so everyone who isn’t white should be forcibly deported. Stephen Miller has laser-like focus on kicking out as many people of color as he legally can. The difference is more one of strategy than goals.

The difference, in my view, between conservative women and modern feminists is that conservative women have a strength inside of themselves whereas the modern feminist only perceives strength when surrounded by those who think like her.
A conservative woman will stand tall on her own, unafraid of what she believes. The modern feminist will continually seek validation of her beliefs and seek out only company that walks in lockstep with her unnatural worldview.

Before I start on the places, the history around all this is fascinating & splits opinion. Is it apt to call the script Tamili/Tamil Brahmi? Did it develop independently in the Tamil country/come with the Jain monks from the north? Were 8,000 Jains actually impaled in Madurai?>

Now we get to strand b/ of criticism of Steven Pinker's "Enlightenment Now". That is, "Inequality! [& often then] Therefore Pinker is a racist, sexist, transphobe scumbag who should be scorned".
As @salonium pointed out, most of that criticism is easy to dismiss. And yet...
Here are @salonium's own words (in quillette.com/2018/03/11/ste…) on dismissing some such criticisms; and let's face it, she's right. Except, arrghh whoops, this means an entire system of "#humanism" values being adopted *as well as* techno yada, and things really aren't that simple.
As @salonium herself points out, that vague values bundle includes #liberalism. And that's OK... except liberalism (& objective science) are under attack, & except Pinker simply unconsciously assumes far too much, as we shall see. But first, @salonium on some critics:
