Pleased to be at @ukonward to hear my old sparring partner @DavidGauke talk about populism. Strange to hear a pitch from a conservative for resisting it feel so radical, so out of step with the Zeitgeist. #GaukePopulism
He's pressing the right buttons about the dangers of populism - but it's rather bloodless. To win the right to be heard, One Nation Tories must reflect more honestly on how we got here. If they don't, they sound too much like vigorous defenders of the status quo. #GaukePopulism

Labour whipped twice for a vote in which both options might have been Leave. Labour has never whipped in support of a vote with the option to Remain.
When Parliament has had an opportunity to vote on a referendum with Remain as an option Labour has whipped its MPs not to support it.

'We might be pretty dreadful but we're not as bad as Farage' is a pitch I keep seeing from Labour. But if you reward it, if you vote for 'pretty dreadful,' you'll get the politics you deserve.
Let's not forget. Labour is led by a liar, an enabler of anti-semites, who hugs close the morally corrupt. Under him Labour is nepotistic and anti-democratic. He is pushing through a Brexit that will harm the vulnerable and which the country doesn't want. I won't vote for that.
I've got no particular axe to grind with @labourlewis who is pushing the Party line. But the inescapable fact is that both Labour and the Brexit Party want Brexit. Labour is competing with the Tories for the shrinking 'softer Brexit than Farage' vote. I won't vote for that.

Prostitution in Spain was decriminalised. Now around 300,000 women work as prostitutes of whom the Spanish Govt estimates up to 90% are trafficked.

This is the commoditisation of human flesh and blood on an industrial scale - by a first world neighbour.
