Presumably, people who don't believe abortions should be a woman's choice won't have one. So the sole purpose of them seeking to legislate a ban on abortions is to impose their views on others who do not agree with them.
Which besides being wrong and un-Constitutional is the exact opposite of the treatment the religious right seek and have received with the expanded "Conscience Rule". They don't want to have to do what the law prescribes because of their beliefs.
But they want the law to insist that others beliefs are violated.

This is not only hypocritical, it's despicable on every level and I haven't even gotten to their positions on things like the death penalty or gun control.

What "normal" will the GOP return to after Trump? The Mitch McConnell normal that kept Merrick Garland off the court? The normal of the Georgia or Alabama GOP attacks on a woman's right to choose? The normal of the Republicans who defended Trump's racism and crimes?
The normal of the GOP that was compromised by Russia and chose party over American national security? The normal of the GOP that is the pocket of a gun lobby that results in tens of thousands of innocent deaths a year?
The normal of the GOP that has sought to gerrymander American states to ensure permanent GOP rule despite Constitutional prohibitions? The normal of the GOP that has sought to pack ideologues onto courts for decades?

There are a large number of DC insider-types I know who support Biden largely because in their calculus he is the best path for their next senior gov't job. But behind the scenes, doubts are rampant, they know the reasons his. past presidential campaigns did not go well.
They expect gaffes. They are not sure whether he is the right man for 2020. They are positive he is not the right man for 2024 which poses a question about whether he increases the likelihood of a heavily contested election then. They know he has baggage.
They know on some issues his views are seriously out of date. They know he does not think well on his feet sometimes and will not do well in debate. They know that he is pure DC establishment and that creates an opening for Trump to go after him much as he did Hillary.

Note to old school Dems,
The "center" is not where you left it. It's not that warm place where bi-partisan compromise was king and Wall St. advisory jobs waited. There is no "reasonable" GOP anymore. The right is so far right that by embracing Eisenhower-era economic policies...
...the left seems radical. But it's not. The GOP labels as "socialist" people pushing for health care and clean environment and women's rights and tolerance and humanity at our borders and an end to economic inequality and better jobs. But that's not radical, it's basic decency.
And none of these issues are really enhanced or served by "compromise." We can't and mustn't compromise on the environment, on basic human rights, on fighting racism, on fighting corruption. And on some issues--like inequality--the old "center" collaborated in making it worse.

One of the most effective ways of assessing whether someone has an abusive personality type is to observe their social media interaction over time, particularly how they respond to criticism.There are significant ‘tells’ which indicate a personality type that needs to be avoided.
Obvious behaviour such as trolling, flaming, cyber bullying and cyber harassment are easy *red flags* to watch out for but, even so , are often dismissed as free-speech or banter or seen as less serious because they happen online. BUT online IS IRL (in real life)
There a number of other ‘tells’ which, though less obvious, are often combined with other traits that help build a picture of an online personality. In short: You are not only what you tweet but HOW you tweet it and your online interaction with others plays a significant part.
