My offer still stands on helping women in states impacted by the abortion bans -- I am happy to help you polish your resume. And, a very nice gentleman I know emailed me after seeing my offer - he actually might be able to help with job placement.
He wrote: "Please tell the (resume) sender that -- if she wishes -- she can send a copy to me. I run the mailing lists for the Linux User Groups in DC and northern Virginia, and am plugged into user groups in Maryland, Philly, and elsewhere."

Oh, there was much to be said about Mr. Calk during the Manafort trial.
I remember this line well from an email authored by Calk re: one of Manafort's loans:
“I look to your cleverness to understand the underwriting."

From my trial coverage: In an email, Manafort requested Dennis Raico, former senior vice president at Federal Savings Bank, to provide him with a copy of Calk’s resume. Prosecutors asked why the request was made.

“He wanted to serve in the Trump administration,” Racio replied.
“Were you often asked to pass messages between Mr. Manafort and Mr. Calk?”
Racio said he was and that it frequently made him “uncomfortable.”

When Treasury Secy Mnuchin was asked if he thought the American people had a right to know what is in Trump's tax returns, he said: “No, I don’t. Presidents are not required to turn them over. The American people knew he didn’t release them before they voted for him."

Mnuchin says his refusal to comply with the request for Trump's tax returns is based on "legal advice given to him by the Department of Justice' and that he has been advised *if * he turned them over, *he* would be acting unlawfully.

So it is true. Plenty of white conservative men have various kinks that are outside of mainstream.

I won’t deny it. But asking the sex workers who see them to out them is a fucking problem.

You’re asking marginalized ppl to out people in power for your benefit.
I have yet to see a significant number of people who actually speak in favor of sex workers rights asking us to out clients.

So you want sex workers to admit they’re criminals, just so you can “own the gop”? There are consequences to Being out as a sex worker/outing clients

Do you have something called PF on it? That's a saving!

Did HR issue you an insurance card? That's your Mediclaim.
Things to ask: How much PF is being deposited into my account each month?

What's my sum insured? Is it just me who is covered or my dependents too?

e.g. You have 3 lacs for self plus dependents (parents/spouse/child). This means upto 3 lacs to be used by any of you per year

It was international women’s day, I was in high spirits even though work was piling on like dirty plates at the back of a local restaurant. Seyi’s message immediately changed that.

“Hey, how’re you?” I said to Seyi as soon as she picked my call.

“I’m okay.” Her voice was clear.
“I’m sure you’re not. What can I do? How can I help? Where are you? Should I come to pick you so we can go to the police to report?” I was talking too fast. I do that when I’m nervous or when I’m in a situation I’m not prepared for.

Back in 1997 there was a landmark case in Germany that determined that people who'd labored in the Lodz Ghetto would get credit toward German Social Security for that work.

Last night I promised a thread about #abortion before Roe v Wade legalized it nationally. Until the mid-1800s, common law allowed abortion until "quickening", when fetal movement can be felt. Toxic abortion remedies & doctors competing w midwives led to… 1/
laws outlawing abortion except where pregnancy was likely to be fatal spreading across the country. Bottled abortion remedies could be and were fatal, and doctors, almost all white and male, didn't want midwives competing with them for pregnancy care. 2/
