We all know Tr*mp & other GOP politicians don’t care about life. If they did, they’d support the things that actually prevent abortion (free contraception, good sex ed, affordable health care) and they would be concerned for the lives of refugee, migrant, and poor babies...

And we all know that abortion restrictions aren’t popular laws. Most people, the vast majority, don’t support banning or tightly restricting access to abortion. So these politicians aren’t serving the people...

So why, all of a sudden, did we hear amped up rhetoric from Tr*mp and see all these states enact legislation? Why the sudden, coordinated rush? What’s the benefit to passing laws that no one really wants and which everyone knows won’t be effective at preventing abortion?

White supremacy and the economical & political power of white men is in danger.

Women are getting more college degrees than men and going on to get better job. Women are a more significant economic force than even 10 years ago...

America’s population is becoming less white. People of color are also getting more education and becoming a bigger economic & political force (despite the many barriers white supremacy already put in their way).

More women & POC are running for office. And they’re WINNING!

The white male power structure is under attack. Limiting reproductive rights is how they fight back.

WOC, immigrants, poor women, trans/NB people, & all other “undesirables” will be prosecuted to the fullest extent, even for miscarriages (this is already happening)...

Rich white women will still have abortions but we’ll see an increase in younger, less affluent white women having children. More white babies. And with more WOC locked up, fewer brown babies...

Those with children will have less access to an education. They won’t be able to hold demanding (high paying) jobs. They’ll stay at home. They won’t run for political office.

The societal power of everyone with a uterus will drop substantially. That’s the goal.

My predictions for the future:
1. Roe v Wade not upheld by SC
2. Abortion bans
3. Contraceptive price gouging & insurance restrictions
4. War with Iran
5. Elimination of trans right & services
6. Closed borders
7. Gay marriage not upheld by SC
8. Rollback of civil rights laws

The playbook is to get people of color, women, and LGBT+ folks out of the workforce & out of the political sphere. Lock them up physically, lock them out by taking away civil rights, or lock them down by forcing them to have children. That’s the future we face.
