Shocker: Walmart, Exxon don't want #MedicareForAll. These companies have fought against health & wellbeing of working Americans for decades. Their opposition just tells me we're on the right track. wapo.st/2JQ9pJ7
I invite @pw_cunningham to cover companies that are part of businesses for #MedicareForAll coalition, led by @wendellpotter. These businesses consistently speak for the policy. Or check out oped like this one from @JosephNSanberg, investor in @blueapron. bit.ly/2TOD2k0
Here's another great piece from Richard Master, the CEO of 200+ employee company in PA. mcall.com/opinion/mc-opi…
What strikes me is the coalition of the largest corporations, insurance & Pharma companies working so hard to convince the American people that #MedicareForAll is a bad idea. Truth: If it's such a bad idea, then why pour so much $$$ into convincing ppl of it?
But don't fool yourself into thinking that ALL businesses feel this way. So many--small, medium and even larger--are coming forward to say their conscience, their research AND their balance sheets tell them America CAN & MUST provide #MedicareForAll to our people.
With #MedicareForAll, here's what YOU get:
1. Comprehensive care, BEFORE & as soon as you get sick, including dental, vision, mental health, LTC.
2. No co-pays, premiums & deductibles. No more arguing w/private insurance companies.
3. Same doctors & hospitals you see now. In fact, MORE choice b/c #medicareforAll means NO "out-of-network" providers.
5. 40% lower prescription drug prices. No more cutting pills, no more skipping prescriptions.

That's why we are fighting for, and that's what we WILL win.
