Today is #BeaverLodgeWednesday! The beavers in the small catchment next to Voyageurs National Park headquarters built a clever little dam around the culvert creating a very lovely pond. I can literally watch beavers swimming around from the windows of our building! 
And check out this castor mound they made!
This thing is so huge I wonder if this wasn't actually deposited by Mongo from Blazing Saddles!

And the actual 'lodge' is hard to see, basically a bank den on the opposite side of the pond. It's right there, next to that one tree and that stump.
