Mom-and-pop market, pump-and-dump scheme

There is a major force in Asia crypto market which is largely unknown : “资金盘” - basically big money which is dedicated in ponzi and pump&dump

They largely contributed to the rise of Tron and EOS in China, Cardano in Japan.

1/ China A shares is highly retail centric, there is good overlap and similarity in trading behavior cross stock market and crypto.

While China’s economy has grown at unprecedented rates, most of the population has been left out of the country’s meteoric rise.
2/ The wealthiest 1% own 1/3 of all wealth, while the poorest 25% own 1%, according to a 2016 survey. Strong gambling/lottery mentality dominates middle class and massive population in rural areas, who have seen the story of super rich but can hardly make it themselves

It is time for the media to have a serious reckoning about Michael Avenatti. The “Creepy Porn Lawyer” was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony domestic battery in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the news isn’t a huge surprise given his public track record.
Since becoming a household name in March, he has lied about potential evidence, manipulated his client’s statement, been accused of outright fraud, failed to pay millions in taxes, and was ordered to pay a $10 million judgement to a former associate.

A friend of mine, whose business was generating $150 million a year, was sued by the FTC in June. They said it was a pyramid scheme. It was not. They had too many complains though.

By September, after a settlement, the company was shut down.

Be careful how you run your business
Take customer complains seriously.

Go through your marketing processes with a fine tooth comb.

Be sure it has nothing looking like a "pump and dump" scheme.

Be sure you dont have a model looking like its only promoting an opportunity to make money without selling products.
Its crazy when you ignore things that come back and hurt you when you were genuinely just doing the right thing.

Short of a family member dying, losing a business you've spent years on, pouring your mind and soul and money into has to be the worst feeling ever.

Be careful guys.
