1/ #onpoli To all those who made #DougFordIsCorrupt & #FordCorruptAF trend...your message has been heard. I knew from the beginning @fordnation was all bluster and blab, wrong for this province. Serious question though....
2/ Are you truly prepared to elect a politician who is RIGHT for Ontario? I’m not sure we are. That person would first of all have to tell you THE TRUTH. They would have to remind you that this province owns one of the largest debts IN THE WORLD. mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/id…
3/ That person will have to get elected telling you that they will have to raise your taxes and cut services. They would have to stand up to corporations telling them they must pay their fair share... no deals, no breaks and risk them fleeing the province.
4/ This politician would have to scold you telling you how you are abusing the health care system, not taking care of yourself thus exasperating one of our biggest expenditures.
5/ They would have to honestly open the books, revealing all the dirty little deals and secrets that got us here. They would have to give you 24/7 access to those books so we could see day to day what direction we are really going in.
6/ They’ll have to admit to you that this will not happen in one or two mandates but rather decades so no quick-fixes that voters like. You’d then have to hold future governments to continuing any fiscal plan because cancelling & re-directing costs billions more than it saves
7/ Reality check; There is no such politician! Although there are 14,320,000 of you there is not a politician alive who would put any of you before their party, big business and donors. You know why?
8/ Well first, most of you don’t vote. Despite one of the highest turnouts last election (m.huffingtonpost.ca/amp/2018/06/08…) that still leaves millions who used excuses not to be a part of a solution.
9/ You are naive. Ready to believe anyone without researching their claims or support anyone who tells you what you want to hear while discounting this with opposing views to yours because they tell you uncomfortable truths.

11/ This politician who can save Ontario is fictitious right now. Are you willing to hear #Truths to make this saviour a reality? Are you willing to give up some comforts? Are you willing to step up and protect our most vulnerable with your own cash?
