Hear me out - I can see @tom_watson as PM within the year. It's unlikely, but... (thread)
We know that Momentum will prevent there being a leadership election (or at least prevent Corbyn losing), and we know that Corbyn won't resign just because he's lost three elections...
We also know that the Tories are likely to select a No-dealer as leader. And that No-deal loses them the support of the DUP, meaning they can't form a Government...
Which means that there will probably be a GE...
But we can be reasonably certain that Labour won't change their stance in the election - which means that we're likely to see a hung parliament...
But in the election itself things will be up in the air. And here come the LibDems. They remember losing Clegg in Sheffield, and see their opportunity to strike - removing Corbyn from his Islington seat...
So now we have a hung Parliament with the remain parties holding the balance. And Labour led by their Deputy Leader. Who is, of course, @tom_watson PM.
