This private prosecution landed in Westminster Magistrates Court long b4 any prospect of a Tory leadership race - it still hasn't officially begun, so it's impossible to just 'get this done'. Is disingenuity a precursor to your challenge?

How the courts schedule hearings literally has nothing to do with the race - in fact, the case was adjourned to consider whether there's a prima facie case to answer. Guess what? There is!

The timing - although coincidence - couldn't be more appropriate. It's the perfect time to scrutinise the personality of potential PMs - when on Earth would the time be more pertinent to bring out the fact that a candidate is a criminal? Does the outcome worry you personally?

Policy is indeed important but so too is the rule of law. MPs swear an oath to uphold it; if any MP (or Minister) flouts the RoL then they are, not only unfit to hold a public office, but also complicit in criminal activity.

Your comment raises a question: are you going on record as saying ignoring criminal activity & the RoL supplants a leadership contest? Are you complicit in the ref o/c being procured by corrupt & illegal practices & accept MPs lying to those they serve? Sounds like it to me.
