If you're complaining about Warren being a republican 25 years ago while ignoring the fact that Biden is currently holding fundraisers with wealthy republicans, you're doing accountability wrong.
If the Georgia anti-abortion bill bothers you, but Biden accepting money to help elect anti-choice Republican candidates doesn't, you're doing accountability wrong.

Support Biden if you want, but wanting to defeat Trump shouldn't mean that you can't demand more from your own candidate. If you're willing to let anything go for the sake of winning, at least know that you're using the same reasoning as Trump voters. xo.

Too many ppl here can name all of Trump's dumbest twitter moments from covfefe onwards but have no clue how many countries he's currently bombing. That's not resistance, that's politics as entertainment. There are folks in need who deserve your attention more than Trump memes do.
Too many ppl on here can tell you everything about that Trump balloon in London, but have no clue that Trump no longer has to disclose civilian deaths from his ramped up drone wars. If lame jokes like #maralardass get retweeted while these kids get ignored, how is that activism?
Trump's also waging war on the poor. It's systemic, it's extensive, and it's not nearly talked about enough. That's why it's a missed opportunity when, every other day, the #1 hashtag is another attempt to troll him instead of an attempt to inform voters.

This is a PERFECT example of what happens w/o impeachment hearings: Cheney made his company rich from Iraq and is now praised by the Dem frontrunner. Bush re-invented himself as a goofy painter who gives candy. 500k civilians are dead, but accountability was deemed too "divisive"
The decision to not impeach Bush was immoral, and so is this liberal desire to rehabilitate his image. The families of those 500k dead civilians don't care about the senate, but I'm sure they wanted us to at least care enough to try offering them justice.

Pelosi has done a lot of good in her career, but no one has ever done enough good to deserve blind trust. It's totally fair to ask why we should expect her to hold trump accountable when she didn't think Bush's war crimes were worth impeachment. It's a valid concern.

People in need of help probably deserve your energy and attention more than whoever you're told to be angry with. A lot of anger these days is warranted, but speaking up for the voiceless will always matter more than shouting down shitty people.
The same execs forcing folks to ration insulin because they can't afford it anymore are spending big money on the dem primary too. If any of the candidates who accepted that money win the primary, sick ppl will die whether or not Trump wins.

One day we're gonna look back at our politicians' lack of urgency on climate change like how we watch the #Chernobyl series.

I wake up a week day morning, I turn on my local news and watch the weather reporter telling me that it is going to rain today. I then plan my day around the issue that the weather reports are pretty good, so I need to plan my day for rain.

There is one takeaway from this vote, and it is that #Republicans are still doing the bidding of the fossil fuel industry.
Their cartoon version of the #GreenNewDeal was cooked up by the Koch brothers.
The instruction to have this vote came from the fossil-fuel-friendly @WSJopinion.

The industry that funds their Party is not willing to support a solution to the single greatest challenge of our time, and wants this stunt instead.
