1/By not challenging the DOJ POLICY that shields a criminal president from indictment the Dems are agreeing that a criminal president may not only run for re-election but, while he’s hiding behind his office, he can make nominations to the Fed bench and even steal SCOTUS seats!😡
2/And the next logical step in this cover-up?Barr will undermine the counter intel report he is hiding from Congress by discrediting/intimidating those who created it. That report must be devastating not only to Trump but to all those GOP minions propping him up.
3/At this point, Trump has only one purpose-consolidating his power so he can stay in office and avoid indictment and this ‘investigation of the investigators’ by Barr is a preemptive effort to undermine the real danger -that counter intel report no one has seen but Barr/Trump
4/If that counter intel report concludes that Trump is a nat’l security threat and the gang of 8 is finally briefed will the Dems warn the electorate even if McConnell refuses to join them in a public statement as he did in 2016? Or will the Dems choose politics over principle?
5/The voters have a right to know the results, not necessarily the classified details, of that report even if that counter intel investigation is on-going! The voters have a right to know whether Trump poses a threat to our national security before we cast our ballots in 2020.
6/How can Congress allow can an arm of the executive branch - the DOJ-to unilaterally decide that the executive cannot be indicted? And how can a TARGET of a counterintel investigation make appts to the bench/SCOTUS w/out Congress first knowing the results of that investigation?
7/Wake up America! Are we simply going to accept that a criminal president can hide from justice behind a DOJ memo and run for re-election so he can continue to hide? How dare we let our Dem reps pretend this assault on our Constitution is just business as usual? How dare they?!?
8/It’s frightening enough that Trump may be compromised and beholden to foreign influences but to place him above the law and INCENTIVIZE him to do everything in his power to remain in office so he can continue to avoid indictment?That creates a moral hazard of global proportions
9/Trump is a criminal, drug abusing, malignant narcissist who may also be a traitor and he is propped up by an entire party! He will do anything to stay in office and avoid indictment including creating a false flag nat’l emergency that allows him to suspend the 2020 elections.
10/One nuclear suitcase bomb set off in a major city is all the excuse Trump needs to declare martial law and suspend the elections. And even if they try, the Dems will be powerless to stop him because, just like 9/11 /Iraq, the public will rally behind the commander in Chief.
11/And with Trump and the GOP’s power firmly entrenched, the perpetrators of that attack will have no fear of retaliation from the man they helped install in the WH in 2016. A man who, even now, denies that Russia attacked us in 2016.
12/It is only common sense that when you tell a man like Trump-a man who meets secretly w/dictators and owes his fortune to money laundering oligarchs, that the only way he can avoid prison is by staying in office he will do anything to stay there. Absolutely anything.
13/And it is only common sense that a man who has the support of an entire political party in a two party system-a man propped up by a GOP that blatantly suppresses the vote and blocks all attempts to secure the ballot -that such a man can, and will, act with complete impunity.

15/What will Trump’s new UAE friends do to repay him? Help him derail those pesky midterm elections w/out any fear of retaliation? Improbable? Perhaps, but why are we, as a nation, even willing to take that chance?
