As Godse worship goes mainstream and enters the Indian Parliament, my column in @htTweets analyses the hardline Hindutva hatred of Mahatma Gandhi:

As I write, "India turfed out the Buddha because his ideas of equality were antithetical to our love of social hierarchy. Now, many Indians wish to turf out the Mahatma because they find his ideas of interfaith harmony antithetical to their love of majoritarian bigotry."

- In historic terms, definitely has had a dream run but the recent performance of Netflix stocks have been volatile at best with a number of factors are causing investors to be extra cautious when it comes to investing in Netflix.
Most recently, Disney’s latest announcement of Disney+ sent Netflix shares tumbling by 4.5%

India (Bhārat), aka Republic of India (Bhārat Gaṇarājya) constitutes a mosaic of paradoxes and contradictions starting with the existence of gigantic socio-economic disparities which are in sharp contrast with the spectacular technological development in most productive sectors.
Such contradictions reflect significant measurement discrepancies which, in India's case, could be on the order of hundreds of millions of people.
Furthermore, there is the problem of Islamic terrorists, who are trained abroad and find easy fuel in the contradictions within it.
Finally, there’s agriculture which, by some estimates, accounts for 90% of India’s water consumption. Farmers meet irrigation demands by indiscriminately extracting groundwater, which some say accounts for a quarter of the world’s groundwater usage.

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.

Breaking: Large terrorist attack in #India. More than 40 Indian Reserve Police Force personnel were killed and many others injured when Pakistani backed terrorists targeted a convoy with a car bomb at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir's today, ndtv.com/india-news/15-…
Reports suggested that the vehicle used by the terrorists was a Mahindra Scorpio carrying more than 350 kg of explosives in what is the worst attack ever on security personnel in the state.
Sources said that terrorists triggered the car bomb while 78 vehicles with over 2,500 reserve police men were on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. The stretch on which the incident occurred had been sanitized in the morning & authorities called it a serious breach of security.

Hindutva & Hinduism are two separate things, in two separate categories. Hinduism is a religion. Hindutva is a political ideology. They are as far apart as Christianity vs. white supremacy. I've no beef with Hinduism. But basic justice & equality are incompatible with Hindutva.
What is Hindutva? In brief, it is the notion that India ought to be land for Hindus, by Hindus. It condemns other Indians to being second-class citizens and accepting increasing Hindutva-fueled violence against minorities in the form of lynchings, morality enforcing mobs, etc.
