The lawsuit accusing Felix Sater of planning to launder looted money through Trump properties, including the aborted Moscow skyscraper deal, is scheduled for a hearing this afternoon. More information to come.

Background from March, @CourthouseNews: courthousenews.com/sater-had-laun…
Today's hearing will be at 2:30 p.m. before U.S. Magistrate Judge Katherine Parker in SDNY.

I'll be covering it from the courtroom. No live-tweeting today, but with quick updates.
The proceedings today were an "initial case management conference," sorting out preliminary matters like discovery, confidentiality and potential pretrial motions.

Sater intends to move to dismiss and attempt to disqualify opposing counsel, whom he says once represented him.
Judge Katharine Parker set a schedule:

* Protective order agreement by July 3
* Initial disclosures by July 9
* Next conference by July 31.

Today was mostly about paving the road ahead. I'll keep following the developments in this case.
The opposing counsel that Sater seeks to disqualify is the firm Boies Schiller, whom Sater claims he had a relationship with in 2015.
As his counsel previously told Bloomberg, Sater's attorney also mentioned his recent arbitration against the Kazakh bank as possible grounds for dismissal. (Sater was not present in court.)

Again, preliminary hearing. More details as they emerge.
The magistrate judge presiding over this case just issued an order setting a schedule for the road ahead, linked here: documentcloud.org/documents/6140…
