YouTube just invalidated its own policies. Apparently now it's happy to host, recommend, and monetize hate speech. Google deserves so much more backlash than it gets theverge.com/2019/6/4/18653…
I hope tmrw YouTube CEO @SusanWojcicki reverses this and plans policy changes + $$$ commitment to moderation...or press & creators rain perma-hell on AbuseTube
Even more effective than #BoycottYouTube would be if everyone in tech texted friends who work at YT and just asked “WTF? Why still work for an app that pays bigots?”

Video chat massively ups risk of abuse in games, including bullying of ‘default’ users who haven’t bought/earned fancy skins. Developers should look to safety-as-a-service providers like @TwoHatHQ & @AntiToxinTech

Houseparty gets to survive as part of Epic, while an acquirer like Fb or Twitter might have shut it down & reassigned the team. This is a win for Houseparty’s users

My entire YouTube channel has been banned for "Hate Speech" today. Instrumental electronic music is "Hate Speech" now, apparently. #YouTube #Censorship #clownworld
By contrast, YouTube allowed a music video which showed Antifa torturing a Trump supporter to death, not only to stay on their platform, but to trend.
The rap video in which a white boy was hung by a black man, also did not violate any of YouTube's "Hate Speech" "rules".
