i am fully sick and tired of civility fetishists wringing their hands about charlottesville city council meetings.
other things city council candidate lloyd snook has said that may FEEL true but are blatant falsehoods that i had to cut for length:

- while claiming he personally does not support ICE notifications, he supports continuing them, incorrectly stating that the law requires them.
- after claiming numerous times that the police civilian review board bylaws violate state law, it turned out snook was basing this claim on a document he found online, without ever having attended a CRB meeting or speaking with a board member about this concern.
taken together, these 3 falsehoods amount to an indication of a powerful desire to stifle the voices of the people who want to take even the most incremental steps forward. it's the platform of someone who wants to make charlottesville great again (for rich white people).
and before anybody tries to contradict the claims i made about the state of city council meetings: i've attended more regularly scheduled meetings of city council in the last 22 months than city councilor mike signer has.
