This is actually a fairly solid job by @JohnKingCNN and Inside Politics who did a solid segment on Biden’s plagiarism and stance against the Hyde amendment as well as Bernie at Walmart streamable.com/k4hwy

@JohnKingCNN Brooke Baldwin didn’t cover either in her first hour tho she did a short segment at end about a new 12% spike in homelessness in LA County tried to the economy and the housing market
@JohnKingCNN During her second hour she did cover Biden’s terrible answer on the Hyde Amendment during which she interviewed Biden apologist Dana Bash, who even struggled to come up with a defense. She only covered Bernie at Walmart for less than a minute at the very end of her show tho
@JohnKingCNN Tapper had a decent segment on Bernie at Walmart where unlike Politico he admitted that Bernie was invited by the workers. Also had a decent segment on Biden’s terrible stance on the Hyde Amendment and even his plagiarizing of parts of his climate proposal.
@JohnKingCNN Pretty awful coverage from Wolf Blitzer tho. Something about the 5pm hour seems to bring out the worst in cable news. Only bright spot was them showing a video of Biden lying about his stance on the Hyde Amendment a few weeks ago

@JohnKingCNN 1) Oh god, I’m coming after Chris Mathews after the garbage I just saw on his show. It’s like he saw my thread yesterday and was like, “oh you think Chuck Todd is worse than me, I’ll show you”. What an asshole.
@JohnKingCNN 2) let’s go thru the earlier shows fairly quickly so we can get to the shitshow that was Chris Mathews tonight. Started out with at 1 pm with @SRuhle who was surprisingly very solid. It was as if Ali Velshi had taken over her mind. Decent segment on Biden and very good segment
3) on Bernie at Walmart, something no one else, at least after 3 pm, on MSNBC covered. I’ll post a clip of it at the end as it was pretty good. Next we got Kasie Hunt and her coverage was bad, in fact Barbara Boxer was such a shill for Biden that I thought it would probably be
4) the worst coverage I’d see in the channel all day.... needless to say it wasn’t. I didn’t watch the 4 pm show. 5 pm we got Chuck Todd who was shockingly pretty decent in his coverage tho no mention of Bernie at Walmart. After that we had Melber who didn’t mention Bernie
5) and may have been the first person on either channel not to mention Biden at all either, tho it’s hard to remember because of what the hell came next.
6) so we go to Chris Mathews at 7 Pm and Mathews is only concerned with promoting ‘Warren and her upcoming townhall with Chris Hayes and we see our first look of what’s in store here. Videos to come but MSNBC is being really quick to remove videos today. Very hard to find

10) So many lies but the first thing we got to start with is the polling Mathews show. Not only does Mathews only show the Morning Consult poll, because if he showed the most recent Harris Hill poll or the most recent Harvard Harris poll, which are different polls, both of which
11) show Warren falling all the wya down to a pathetic 5%. This is especially ridiculous since in part 2 of this segment Mathews talks to the guy from the Hill Harris whose job is to talk about the polls, so there’s no way he didn’t know that. But it gets much worse. In a move
12) that I don’t think even Chuck Todd has tried before, Mathews shows 2 polls from Morning Consult, but here’s the thing.... they aren’t the w most recent Morning Consult polls. They are the most recent poll, and the freaking 6th most recent poll
13) check that the 7th most recent. And why does Chris decide to use those two? Because it’s the only way he could get his narrative to be supported. Since that 7th poll the polling for Bernie has gone: 24%, 22%, 19%, 19%, 19%, 20%, and now 19%. Basically Bernie lost a few
14) Points once Biden got in and has remained at 19% ever since. Meanwhile Warren has gone: 7%, 9%, 8%, 8%, 9%, 9%, and now 10%. In fact had he picked only the poll 5 polls ago, it’d be 19, 19, 19, 20, 19 for Bernie and 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10 for Warren. That’s basically no change
15) and is one of the only polls where Warren is even at double digits as her polling average overall still isn’t even half of Bernie’s as she sits at 8.3%. This is insane levels of propaganda and of course @chrislhayes just goes with it and also agrees that Bernie’s campaign
16) doesn’t have fire and hasn’t been releasing policy or doing town halls even tho as of a few weeks ago at least, Bernie had done the most town halls and he has released a ton of policy. Meanwhile later in the segment Mathews and his panel just make crap up and throw it at
17) the wall despite there being no truth to it. A hint that what’s being said is a lie comes from the fact that Jamal Simmons who doesn’t get the credit he deserves as being one of the biggest hacks in the media. Anyway the panel is just beyond parody, first claiming that
18) the polls are changing a lot, which once again they aren’t, and then claim Bernie is plummeting because he came in entitled and isn’t earning it and he no longer has support of the youth and that he seems angry then even more comically
19) that Bernie only had support in 2016 because people wanted to vote for the person they weren’t supposed to. With no sense of irony they then say Warren is showing leadership, on the freaking day that Bernie went and spoke at Walmart, something they never mentioned by the way
20) and then like someone having a stroke, Mathews goes on about how long Warren has been pushing a populist message as if she wasn’t still a Republican in the mid 90’s and Bernie hasn’t been consistent since the late 70’s.
21) and when you think it can’t get more ridiculous, Simmons inexplicably brings up Booker in a way that makes me suspicious he’s on his campaign team or something. This is all in under 3 mins btw
