1) Every once in a while cable news will run a segment that is so beyond the pale of just their usual propaganda that it’s actually a bit jarring. This following segment is one of those. streamable.com/kixt1
2) So lets get started in debunking all of the lies and smears. I’m not even going to count the mini things like Todd claiming the poll looks like every other recent poll. So we are off to a great start when Todd claims this is the first poll to have Warren in double digits
3) Not only is it not first poll, but it’s the latest version of the same poll that had her not only in double digits in their last poll but actually ahead of Bernie. In other words this specific poll is actually better news for Bernie than for Warren as Bernie gained 5 points
4) While Warren only gained 1 point and moved from second to third. Additionally Biden lost 3 points in the poll. Also Warren has also polled in double digits in the Emerson poll tho that was Bernie’s best poll
5) The segment is just getting started tho. Todd than says beating Biden now means something but beating him 3 months ago wouldn’t have meant anything which is an assaying statement as winning means you get to run for President.
6) Some talking head then claims Warren is the first person to have AOC in a video with them and that this is a big issue for Bernie as it shows AOC is with Warren over Bernie. Apparently they aren’t aware of the Predatory interest rate bill they are coauthoring or the fact
7) She has mentioned Bernie quite a bit lately and tweeted about him as well. It’s not even like the media hasn’t written about this usatoday.com/story/news/pol…. Instead it’s just that msnbc doesn’t want their elderly viewers to remember
8). Then Todd, who is the jackass who just had Bernie on this weekend and didn’t bother to ask him about his New York Times interview but instead tried a weird gotcha question about abortion for child's gender dared to call Bernie “Mr. Crankorama” as he then tried to make
9) Bernie’s NY Times interview into a negative, much like many of the Bernie haters have been, even tho most people think the interview made him look better as he refused to apologize for being anti-endless wars
10) the panelist all then agree that Bernie is cranky/unlikeable before claiming he’s got no vision for the future and is stuck in 2016 which makes sense seeing as he is still putting out the most progressive policy proposals and just came out with a revolutionary education plan
11) Oh and I almost forgot they also claim Bernie isn’t inspiring. And this is all within a 2 minute and 45 second span where the entire panel is all in agreement and there’s no push back at all from any of them
12) This is why Bernie polls so badly with people who watch 3 or more hours of cable news. Because they are full of crap and as things get closer and closer to mattering, are willing to go lie and smear even more blatantly to their low info viewers.
