NBC warned AIT about violating the broadcasting code and cited examples. The NBC broadcasting code was not written by Buhari. It was first drafted in 1993..
#AITUnderSiege and amended in 1996, 2002, 2006, 2012 and 2016.

Freedom anywhere in the world does not equate foolishness. AIT can proceed to court to challenge the case.

AIT's office was raided in 2006 by the police over OBJ's third term story..

#AITUnderSiege we are nation guided by laws. Every industry has codes and ethics. Lawyers are guided by Legal practitioners act, Doctors by the MDCN act..As I doctor, if I violate any of the act, I will lose my license and may go to jail. Same goes for Lawyers and engineers..
#AITUnderSiege Nigeria is not a jungle. If AIT has any case to prove, let them go to court. Buhari is less bothered about AIT..

Apparently AIT had already filed a case in court on May 30th, sensing that NBC would come for their jugular. The judge asked both parties to maintain status quo as at May 30 when AIT filed its case..

The court rejected 2 prayers sought by AIT -
To prevent NBC from jamming their signals and invading their premises.

The law can be very funny at times with different interpretations. I am a Medical doctor and let's assume I have my clinic and a pharmaceutical company. My regulators are NAFDAC and MDCN.
They are established by the laws of the land to regulate my activities in the healthcare space. I also have clearly written guidelines from both of them, which I agreed to before obtaining my license to practise and run my pharmaceutical company.

Some people's existence and relevance is tied to the Biafran hate propaganda. The old politicians who twisted the story to make it seem like it wasn't a war. As if the Biafran soldiers were sitting ducks, as if Ojukwu had no expansionist agenda..
They won't talk about the Abagana ambush where over a thousand Nigerian soldiers were killed while those captured were beheaded in broad daylight. They won't tell them about the Okene nd Auchi massacre.
They won't mention the fact that Ojukwu entered Portharcourt, controlled the land and seized Shell BP. They won't mention the fact that his fighter jets kept pounding other cities repelling the NNS Lokoja.

They won't mention his invasion into the mid west.

Mr. Chxta the FG hasn't stopped anyone from ventilating. You can vent as long as you intend to but don't promote divisionism and secessionists. Rwanda has banned ethnicity, maybe you will be glad if the country bans all forms of ethnic identification.
In Rwanda, you cannot refer to yourself as an Igbo man. You will go to jail. You cannot also claim to come from a particular tribe, you cannot talk about the genocide on air, you will be jailed. You cannot question the govt's position on the war, whether you agree with it or not
You cannot form or join any Igbo, hausa or Yoruba socio cultural group. You will thrown in prison.

I am sure you will be the first person to call it suppression and tyranny.

Buhari came, recognized the Biafran soldiers including the fallen ones and paid their pensions.

I shall proceed to answer the question, does the letter accord with S.39 of the CFRN 1999? My answer is: NO.
The tone, tenor and language of the letter highlight a certain draconian attitude, which goes against freedom of expression guaranteed by S.39 CFRN thus:
When the NBC alleges that "statements are deliberately transmitted to suit the interest of certain groups", it is showing its partisan hand. A regulator should not make allegations it can't substantiate as the onus of proof lies in it.

I look for tools that help me focus on my product, not my code.

That's why I loved React the first time I used it. I just use the API as designed and focus on features, instead of figuring out how to wire up child views, or initial/teardown events, or maintain object identity.
Many tools people adopt force you back into thinking about the way you write the code over the way the product works.

I worry many devs would rather follow a bunch of clean code rules but have a janky UI than have code inconsistency and an amazing UI.

Code is a means to an end.
Do you spend more time shuffling files around and naming them than you spend tweaking an interaction to remove some UI flicker?

Do you spend more time fixing lint errors than making sure the sticky header doesn't slam into place but smoothly sticks around?
