I’m absolutely SICK of these brainless fools comparing ANYTHING to the Holocaust!

R they being shipped straight to gas chambers?

R they being shot & dumped in a ditch?

R they being starved to death?

R they force-marched in the freezing cold?

R the healthy forced into labor?

Hey AOC, go visit Auschwitz before you ever utter the word “Holocaust” again!!

- America isn’t kidnapping kids from around the world and putting them in camps...whereas, the Nazis went beyond their territory to capture Jews!

- Migrants commit a crime by entering illegally. The Jews’ crime was being Jewish!

1) Jews were building a state in British-Mandate Palestine well before Hitler came to power and before the Holocaust began (remember the Balfour Declaration in 1917?). The state would have come into being regardless. The Holocaust only reinforced its necessity.
2) Everyone from the “Arab street” to Arab leadership was antagonistic to Jewish presence as was evident in the Hebron massacre of Jews in 1929 and the many that followed in the 30s and 40s.

When ppl say “both sides” re the Arab-Israel conflict remember this:

✅only 1 side has always and continues to call for the annihilation of the other.

✅only 1 side teaches their children to hate the other, inculcating them with dreams of martyrdom

✅only 1 rejected statehood
✅only 1 side has “terror camps” for children.

✅only 1 side glorifies terrorists by naming public squares and streets after them.

✅only 1 pays the families of terrorists for killing innocent civilians

✅only 1 holds territory that (on pain of death) excludes the other.
✅only 1 sends children to fight for adults

✅only 1 launches operations from civilian population centers, using human shields

✅only 1 invests in terror tunnels and infrastructure instead of schools and hospitals

✅only 1 murders its own ppl for selling property to other side

Janusz Korczak (the pen name of Henryk Goldszmit) was a Jew born in 1878 in Warsaw. He earned his medical degree in pediatrics from @UniWarszawski and was renowned for his work with children, particularly in establishing orphanages. This is one of his orphanages, Krochmalna St.
His love for children was recounted by one of his former students.

Jozef & Wiktoria Ulma risked their lives to help Jews during the #Holocaust. On March 1944 the German police discovered the Jews in hiding.

The Jewish family was shot, as was the entire Ulma family - parents & 6 children. Wiktoria was 7 months pregnant. 1/14

So, today's story begins with learning that the current admin has started making moves to push for better treatment of homosexuals abroad.
Someone rightly pointed out that we still have issues with that here, so maybe that should be addressed. 1/
A MAGAt argued that a church doing that is totally different from government-sanctioned action. To which I pointed out that Mike Pence supported conversion therapy.
This was roundly greeted with much insistence that it's not true. I quickly muted the conversation. 2/
