Only Democrats interpret every loss as a sign to move Right. Republicans always go Right win or lose; they're never even asked to move Left. That's how we end up with single-payer healthcare and climate action being considered radical while white nationalism thrives on the Right.
We really do have to redefine what we consider radical.
