On 26 Oct 2016 Corbyn forced a vote in HoC to halt the sales of bombs to Saudi Arabia for profit. Jeremy took the view that profiting from bombs aimed at schools & hospitals was wrong. Only 1/4 of UK MPs agreed with him. Today a UK Court says he was right hansard.parliament.uk/Commons/2016-1… 
The reason Jeremy Corbyn was so eager to stop the UK profiting from arms sales to Saudi Arabia was because under international law it’s illegal to sell bombs if you know they’ll be used to kill, in this case, innocent children. It was regretful that just 1/4 of UK MPs agreed
One of the reasons it’s very welcome that the UK Courts agree selling bombs for profit to Saudi Arabia is wrong is that it adds weight to Jeremy’s preferred method of keeping peace. Tackling extremism by financially targeting countries that harbour terrorists. Don’t bomb them.
It is unclear whether Boris Johnson will agree with Jeremy on this. After all, Boris Johnson voted against Corbyn’s motion to ban arms sales to Saudi Arabia hansard.parliament.uk/Commons/2016-1…
