Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were both in favor of simply deporting unaccompanied minors back to where they came from. There was no outrage whatsoever: time.com/4218850/democr…
It's become important for the left to paint Trump and ICE and border patrol as inherently, uniquely, evil. It's absurd. The detention centers are struggling with a giant influx. It's not callousness, it's systemic failure. Fix them.
It's difficult to do that when the rhetoric is at "concentration camp" and no plan presented on what to do with the people crossing the border. We get it, you hate Trump, you care a lot about the people in the detention centers. But now what?
