Anecdotally, I’ve heard from parents of kids who are addicted – telling me how easy it is for teens to buy and use e-cigarettes, how e-cig images are all over social media, and how their kids tell them that so many of their friends in high school are using these products.
You’ve probably heard those reports, too. But my comments today aren’t based on anecdotes. They’re informed by a growing body of evidence showing e-cigarette use by youth is truly a health epidemic—and one with the potential for serious consequences.

One of the main things I hate about Washington is that politics consistently gets in the way of policy. We play political theater and pat ourselves on the back in the false name of compassion while Americans suffer and ultimately pay the price.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that Democrats would hold American national security and sovereignty hostage for 34 days. Never did I think that we would see adults throw temper tantrums over $5.7 billion in necessary spending out of an over trillion spending package.
Never did I ever think that Congress would let what is happening at the border continue. As @BarackObama accurately noted in 2014, there is an “actual humanitarian crisis on the border.” That is fact, not an opinion or some fearmongering tactic. bit.ly/2RdgpzR

One thing I haven't talked about is why representation matters. So a bit of background on my disability, I wasn't always a wheelchair user. I've been in a chair for about eleven years now because I got an auto immune disease
And the biggest adjustment was looking at storybooks or dolls or films and not seeing myself any more. There was no such thing as a disabled Disney princess, and my parents had a hell of a time trying to explain why. Honestly, lack of representation growing up caused issues.
As I got older obviously I adjusted to it, but I know lots of people with the same issue; maybe a bit different. As I said on this account earlier, our films are a reflection of our society. So what does it mean when disabled people aren't included in that idealised view?
