#KamalaHarris was exactly what she said. This piece thinks it's calling her out because there were 15 black students in the school--making it "only" 97% white.
Honestly, how this claims to be fact-checking integration is an embarassment. Berkeley schools weren't integrated.

It's really critical that we journalists take the mission to report the news truthfully as a serious pact with the public. This does not fulfull that mission. Rather it tries to undermine Harris and give cover for white segregation.

It doesn't take superior math skills to know 97% is nearly 100% and nowhere near the 35% required to achieve mandated integration. Disinformation and misinformation are dangerous in an election cycle and must be guarded against. Do better @sacbee.
