Portland police say three sites -- Pioneer Square, Chapman Square and Waterfront Park -- will be involved, and that the events will begin about noon.

Scenes from Lownsdale Square, where a couple hundred demonstrators have gathered for milkshakes, music, etc.

Left-wing protesters are on the move, headed toward the waterfront.
Officers, including some on bikes and others in riot gear, stopped the group at SW Second and Salmon.
The left-wing demonstrators easily number in the hundreds. Marching again, south on SW Third.
First skirmish I’ve seen. Didn’t see how this started, but @MrAndyNgo got roughed up.

After a stop at the waterfront, protesters are back in the move. They appear headed toward Pioneer Square.

Police on bikes broke up opposing protesters at Broadway and Morrison.
.@PortlandPolice say Pioneer Courthouse Square is closed and that: “Police have been hit with eggs and milkshakes.”
At Nordstrom near Pioneer Courthouse Square:
From @PortlandPolice: “PPB advising this is now a civil disturbance and unlawful assembly. If you do not disperse, you are subject to arrest or use of force.”
Some chatter back and forth between opposing protesters at Sixth and Morrison. It doesn’t appear much else is going on at this point.
Police just cleared a group from the corner of Sixth and Morrison ... firing less-lethal rounds of some sort. Pepper spray smell in the air.
The last officers at Sixth and Morrison have left.
Crowds appear to be dispersing, more or less.
