2/ running the process. Thomas’s opponents wzbted to win at all costs and Biden basically got played. Civility, decorum, fair play, etc. It was an early confrontation in the kind of winner take all FedSoc mentality that reached its apotheosis with McConnell Garland ...
3/ Kavanaugh etc. As I said, this is actually quite relevant to the choice today of a presidential nominee. But to claim that Biden made deals with segregationists to put Thomas on the court is completely preposterous.

many possible strategic pitfalls for Dems. but this is silly. Democrats won with big margins last year. They need to keep that coalition together and energize it. this is an argument premised on an assertion with no basis.
2/ In comments some people seem to think I’m saying Dems have it in the bag and don’t have to do anything. Definitely - I think clearly - not saying that. The coalition is there and was demonstrated in 2018. The key is to hold it together. That’s not a given.
3/ But Ross is doing a kind of baiting here based on his theory about a “hardening” liberalism and that liberal democracy may need to be replaced by a kind of authoritarian nationalism. In any case they need to find someone to compromise with but they don’t know how to ...

If school desegregation is “political poison” today it is in part because terms like “forced busing” & “de facto segregation” are repeated w/o context.

Here is some of what I learned in studying the history of “busing” for my book “Why Busing Failed" ucpress.edu/book/978052028…
First, school buses made the modern public school system possible. Number of students transported to school at public expense in US expanded from 600K in 1920 to 20M in 1970. Buses enabled multi-grade elementary schools and comprehensive high schools, rather than one-room schools
Buses had long been used in the South, as well as New York, Boston, and many other northern cities, to maintain segregation. These were mandatory assignments, but white parents did not oppose this “forced busing” whybusingfailed.com/anvc/why-busin…

The woman commentating said that it is hard to go "toe to toe with a woman like Elizabeth Warren" LOL oh my goodness these left wing maniacs have literally no clue what is reality and not. Elizabeth Warren is even WORSE than Hillary Clinton. They are all in for her lol.
My favorite part of Lester Holt being at both nights of the Democrat debates is the fact that literally nobody brought up the fake news nonsense claiming President Trump told Lester Holt he fired Comey because of Russia. That's how dead the fake Russia nonsense is. Enjoy!

My poll to address the fake poll on Monday that gave #Biden a 32pt lead but then turned that just mean 180 people has closed. The poll was for 50 and under.

Here are the results:
Harris 39%
Buttigieg 38%
Warren 32%
Castro 23%
Klobuchar 21%
Beto 18%
Bernie 16%

There were several hundred write-ins, nearly half of which were @AndrewYang. Also getting write-ins: Inslee, Tulsi, Swalwell, Williamson, Gillibrand, Booker.

The function was to point out that people 50 and under who mostly do not have cell phones are not being repped in these national polls. And also that those small samplings of 400 or 50 people are not representative.

#HunterBiden was born on February 4, 1970 (age 48) - Also a Georgetown ..
[2] Did they overlap ? Hunter Biden also went to Georgetown for his BA , but got his law degree from Yale.

Why are we looking at this right now?

It started with noticing that #MelissaHodgman seemed to have a FOCUS on issues related to China at the SEC
