NOW: The House has voted in favor of finding Attorney General Barr and Secretary of Commerce Ross in contempt of Congress. Final vote: 230-198.

For those asking, well, what now? Essentially, when the House votes to hold someone in contempt of congress, the matter then moves to a local US atty here in D.C. (most likely scenario) for prosecution. But, friendly reminder: US attys work for the DOJ.
In the past when AGs were held in contempt, like Eric Holder in '12 - the matter doesn't go very far. It tends to be that courts are unwilling to enforce action. But as I mentioned earlier, this vote, for Dems, appears to be about building a case against POTUS re: obstruction.
This adds to the portfolio, if you will.
