Last month far-right Oregon Republicans state representatives, aided by the white supremacist militia groups they represent, went into hiding to scuttle a needed environmental bill that actually combats global warming, and they vowed to murder any law enforcement sent after them.
Anyway, that resolution is non-binding and wouldn't change U.S. law, but it would, logically speaking, make the official position of the U.S. Senate that Heather Heyer was an ipso-facto terrorist but the "unite the right" Nazis she was protesting when she was murdered weren't.
It's a documented fact that white supremacists have been infiltrating law enforcement for decades.
