How many of you have proof of citizenship on you right now? Most driver's licenses don't have it. What if you were stopped,detained? How would you prove you are legally here? And what if DHS rejected your docs, made you go to court to be freed? Happening right now, in America.
2/Here is a story about a US citizen being detained. If it can happen to this person, it can happen to anyone. Powers the President is attempting to seize here are really dangerous.

3/From 2000 to 2016 average Dem margin with under 45s was 6 points. Rs even won them in 2000, 2002, 2004.

In 2018 margin was 25 points, and margin is holding in early 2019 polling.

Why not just ask - what would you do make health care better? The economy better? Immigration? The bouncing around, quick changes in direction, narrow out of left field questions, pitting one against one another just isn't a reasonable way to manage a debate.
2/I raised this last night. Dems need huge rethink about these debates. Format not working any more, media has changed. Where are social media companies? Can it be townhalls? Can we produce our own, stream? Have to find a better way.
3/DNC should ask the campaigns for ideas on how to make future gatherings better, maybe even crowd source it to the public. Urgency now to a big rethink. Can't do this again. So many other options for how to present these great candidate to the public. Need to innovate here.

I'm a Corbyn supporter, and a Remainer. How do I square that? Quite easily. I square it in the same way as 13 million people did when voting Labour in 2017 despite Labour accepting and respecting Brexit.
In my view, what united all of us 13 million was common, shared values. Looking out, not looking in; wanting a better, much more inclusive, compassionate society, which takes cares of others and is at ease with itself.

Franchise Tax Board v Hyatt is the sleeper abortion case you have not heard about. Because, of course, it is not about #abortion.

But the decision - and HOW it is reached - is going to determine how the incoming wave of abortion cases are going to be resolved.

The FTB case came from a tax dispute. A former resident of California sued the California Franchise Tax Board in a Nevada state court, claiming that it had done him all manner of wrongs in investigating his purported tax liability.

California does not want to be sued in another state’s courts. The current law, decades old, allows such suits.

The case has nothing to do with abortion, but everything to do with how to overturn precedent.

Why not just go speak to the Grand Jury? Clearly, it's not about avoiding spending more time talking about the investigation and your experience...
